Their teacher entered their classroom with a proper P.E attire and told her students to
prepare because they will have their basketball class.

¤ Since their topic is Baketball the teaching aids used by the teacher is very appropriate, their teacher had no any difficulties in teaching the rules and skills about basketball because she had the proper equipment used.




ANALYSIS
What do you think prompted the teacher to choose the materials/learning resources that she/he used?
Since their topic is Basketball, I think the teacher decided to let her class went to the basketball court to make her class more appropriate, so that she can teach and perform well the skills of basketball and as well as her students. In teaching you must think of the teaching materials that you will used for a good class discussion.

What difficulties, if any, did the teacher experience? How can this be managed?
I think the difficulties did the teacher experience during her class was the students who were not really good in basketball or those students who doesn’t know how to play basketball.
The teacher managed those kind of difficulties by approaching her students well, teaching the proper skills, how to do it and giving more time for those students who doesn’t know how to play basketball.

Over- all, were the learning resources/materials used effectively? Why? Why not?
Yes, the learning resources/materials were used effectively, because the students were enable to perform what their teacher wants them to do and at the end of their class they’ve learned something about basketball.









REFLECTIONS
If I am the teacher of that class, I will do the same thing; I will let them out of the room and have our class in the gym so that we will have the proper place in discussing the game basketball. For those students who doesn’t know how to play basketball I will focus on them but not too much, I will give more time to them than those students who already know playing basketball. At the end of our class my students must know at least 3-4 skills of basketball especially those students who doesn’t know the game basketball.
I know it is not easy but as a teacher I must do my best, I should not give up because it is my job and my duty.

ANALYSIS
Give at least three benefits of doing a survey of available materials before making your own materials? Explain each.
1. You will be prepared – In doing a survey you will know what are the lacking materials that you will need in your lesson, in case of the materials that you need is not available you can prepare and make your own material.
2. You will not waste your time – If you make your own materials without conducting a survey first there will be a tendency that you will waste your time in making or finding the materials that you will need because you didn’t know that there are already available materials.
3.You can have a better materials – In conducting a survey, you will find out what if the materials available are good and enough, and if it is not enough you can make your own for the betterment of your lesson.

REFLECTION
1. Which of the materials did you like making the most?
Cut-outs pictures are the materials that I like to make because it was very easy to find and very affordable. You just need old magazines or newspaper in making this material.
2. What difficulties, if any, did you encounter in making the materials? How did you overcome them?
The difficulties that I’ve encountered in making the materials were time and patience, because in making the materials you must have enough time and you should give your best in doing this to have a better result. I’ve overcome them by thinking of the students that this is for them and for them to learn more and enough.

The tips that I can give the teachers regarding preparation of teaching materials are be patient, be more creative and think for the betterment of their students.

The difficulties that I’ve encountered in making the handouts were money, thinking of the materials to be used for the betterment of the handouts and time. I’ve overcome all of these by trusting God that I can finished it.
